A Circus Festival couldn't quite be a circus festival, we are excited to announce a BigTop will be the performance venue for ALL CATEGORIES over the 4 days!!!
A presentation by Zelie Bullen and Wonita Weber-Matousek. Zelie Bullen and Wonita Weber-Matousek are two of Australia's finest animal trainers. Known for their compassion toward all animals as well as their high standards in animal welfare they use combined training methods and always strive for complete emotional enrichment for each animal that they work with. Zelie has trained animals for film & television, including War Horse, The Mask of Zoor, Red Dog True Blue and many more.
These two talented ladies will be making a presentation with Wonita's Trick Ponies and running a question answer session for the audience to learn more about the training methods that are used on their beautiful animals.
Come and join us at the Premiere or Gold show and enjoy this wonderfully eccentric tale of a sculptor and his cheeky acro-fantastic musical friends, named ‘The Sculptors’ Studio’ The film and live music will be played during the tallying and deliberation at the end of the show

•Endurance High wire walking greatest distance in 3.5 hours. Current record holder Ashley Brophy (he is the current Guinness title holder) distance of 11.566 km / 7.18 miles 1st Nov 1985. Adelaide Australia.

•Endurance High Wire walking greatest distance in 24 hours. Current record holder Joey Kelly (Germany) distance of 15.68km / 9.74 miles

Do you have a circus record you would like to set or break? Record Holders Republic in England have partnered with the Australian Circus Festival to create some new and break some world records!
If you have a record that you would like to break or set with us at the circus festival, contact us on info@australiancircusfestival.org RHR unites with other local and world record organizations to bring unity and consistency in world record adjudication and reporting. Record Holders Republic has become a great platform for artists wanting to break and set records! Competition
We have hand selected Australias' finest circus industry leaders as jury members, including some international jury members from Russia, Canada, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Ukraine and USA
The competitions will be held over 4 days in the following categories:
Community Circus StudentsPre-Professional Circus Students/ArtistsProfessional Circus Artists
Each category holds their own age divisions:Junior (6years to 12years), Teen (13 to 17 Years), Adult (18+)
All competitiors will receive a participation medal and each cetegory and age division will have Trophies awarded to Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.
Artists apply to compete with a video audition, a panel will select the competitors and place them into the appropriate categories for their age and performance level. Entries are currently closed for our 2017 edition
